   I got the shade buff because I recently discovered I’m green and this is the only light olive tone and closest to my skin. I have two other of these foundations but they were the wrong shades.

   Disclaimer! It is thick so please apply a very thin layer if you don’t want to look super cakey! I suggest using a bit of setting spray or just water with a mist spray to spray your brush as you apply it.

   Rub it on the back of your hand first so it’s spread out and warmed a bit, then take the brush and lightly tap and tap then apply to your face just to insure it’s in thin layers. And it’s already Matte so you don’t need much powder anyway.

   So lets get into the short details of things to know.

   Oily skin: Definitely yes! (But you do still need to hydrate your skin throughly. Before I did that the oil in my skin would eat through the foundation and the powder)

   Oil, Water or Silicon based: Water based as it says on the back of the bottle.

   Watery or Thick: Definitely more on the Thicker side. It does melt into itself when you squeeze the tube, but it does it slowly type of thick.

   Color Match: I don’t think you’ll ever get a perfect exact color match. I suggest L.A. girls mixing pigments since they help a lot in making your right shade.

   And yes if you have particularly texture skin it will emphasize that a bit more since most matte foundations do. (And i don’t mean bad skin care routines, i mean people who just naturally have a bit more texture then others)

   Really no criticisms besides the shade range.

   I’ve used Revlon ColorStay in the bottle for years. Tried many others, and have always gone back to that. Saw this foundation in the tube and decided to give it a shot, and let me tell you. . . .it’s even better than the bottle version! I LOVE this foundation! It takes very little to get the look you want, and it gives your face a very smooth, almost youthful appearance (I’m 70). Don’t believe all the hype out there that this kind of foundation enhances your skin flaws, wrinkles, etc. and older gals need to use the baked powder foundation. It’s simply not true. I’ve tried the expensive baked powder foundation and for me, it was a total waste of money. . .used it once, got no coverage whatsoever and it’s sitting in my makeup basket unused now. This will definitely, hands down, be my new go to for foundation! You will not be disappointed, I promise!

   This foundation is fantastic. It covers very well and the shade matches me perfectly. I find it fairly lightweight, it blends good and holds up quite well throughout the day. If I am active and sweat it does need to be reapplied however.

   Amazon haul worth the purchase. Worth the money. You’re unsure when you purchase things like this on whether it’s going to match with your skin tone. I’m a black woman and this was great. It does have long wear. It is getting kind of cool outside in North Carolina so I’m unsure about the heat, but the matching of the color was great. I’m not sure if it’s really moisturizing but this is the best rating I can give on this product from what I’ve experienced so far

   As a makeup artist who works primarily with wedding parties, I need a foundation that’s reliable, flexible, and works across a range of skin tones — and Revlon’s foundation delivers on all fronts. It offers beautiful full coverage without feeling heavy or cakey, and it blends out effortlessly. I love that I can sheer it out with a bit of primer or moisturizer when I want a more natural finish, but it also builds beautifully when I need more coverage.
   The shade range is impressive, with several truly wearable tones that suit a variety of complexions. I also appreciate how well the undertones are formulated — they match real skin tones, not just the typical “fair/light/medium” guesses. The shades are also easy to mix, which is a huge bonus for customizing a perfect match on clients.
   One of my favorite things is the packaging — the lightweight tubes are hygienic, mess-free, and super practical for travel or working on location. This foundation has definitely earned a permanent spot in my kit!

    I am incredibly impressed. I’ve used the brand Il Makiage for years but I got tired of the online order process and subscriptions I’d forget about and suddenly have a 60 dollar charge hit my account. It also didn’t help that I’d had to have 2 different shades, one for winter when I get more pale, and a summer shade. This Revlon foundation is a third of the price for the exact same amount, is a better shade match entirely, and the nude works for me year round. This was what I was looking for when I went with the expensive stuff. Revlon has full coverage, lasts all day, doesn’t get too shiny, and it doesn’t look caked on. Covers everything! It works better than any other foundation I’ve tried. I’m now a loyal customer to this brand and this product.

    Very good full coverage foundation. Probably one of the best under $15 liquid foundations I’ve used. I went a shade or two darker than what I normally would use, bc it was cheaper but it worked fine (trying on the virtual model helped). Blends well too
