   Blurs my pores, not my life choices. I’m a 39-year-old grandma (yes, that’s real) with a disabled vet body and a face that’s basically a scrapbook of bad decisions and genetics. Massive pores, fine lines, wrinkles, sunspots, chicken pox scars—you name it. If skin could qualify as a “fixer-upper,” mine would be listed as “great potential, needs full renovation.”The feel: This primer surprised me. It’s smooth, dry, and powdery—like cornstarch, baby powder, or one of those mythical moisturizers that doesn’t leave you looking like you fell asleep in a pizza box. It doesn’t suffocate your skin, and that’s a win.The look: The clear formula is a blessing and a curse. On the plus side, there are no harsh lines if you miss a spot—so you won’t walk around looking like your face stopped at the border of your jawline. On the downside, maybe it’s because it’s clear that it doesn’t quite bulldoze my pores the way I’d like.Performance: It’s good—better than plenty I’ve tried—but if I’m honest, Rimmel’s Stay Matte still holds the crown for me. That one grips harder and makes my skin behave longer. This one smooths things, but doesn’t quite convince me I’m not 39 going on “grandma tired.”The value: Price-wise, it’s great. Totally fair for what it does. My gripe? The tube is too small. I need a size that screams “bulk warehouse,” not “tiny purse sample.”Bottom line: Great for makeup… terrible at covering regret, trauma, and three decades of questionable life choices. 4 stars.

   Gives smooth appearance, diminishes pores and blimishes, odorless, colorless. I have been using this products for over 25 years to help smooth imperfections and enlarged pores on my nose and chin. It fact, after using it on those areas, I usually pat a little bit over my entire face. It does not do away with deep wrinkles; however, it does diminish the appearance and makes my skin look much smoother.It is odorless, inexpensive and does a pretty good camouflage. I do not have lots of enlarged pores, but I do like the way it makesmy skin look smoother. I also like the fact that it is inexpensive, but effective. A little goes a long way.

   Impressive for the price. This primer really does blur pores and creates a smooth, even base. It goes on like silk, is lightweight, easy to spread and instantly softens the look of texture without feeling greasy or heavy. What I really like is how natural the finish looks. It doesn’t make your skin oily or overly matte. It feels breathable and looks polished. Makeup layers nicely on top and stays put throughout the day. A little also goes a long way. If your main goal is smoother-looking skin and a longer-lasting makeup finish, this is a great budget-friendly choice.
