Good foundation makeup, with a perfect match on my brown skin. Not oily even after all day, do not have to blotch even on hot days; however, I do use under and over primers, so I’m not sure if that plays a part. Nevertheless, using this, I’ve had no breakouts. Not heavy feeling. pricey.

This makeup is exceptional beyond all others! I have spent decades fighting with my foundation! Over the past few years I have been using higher quality products and still continued to have issues with my oily skin coming right through my make up and now it is fine lines that I am working with on top of the oil issue! This foundation is the one and the only that does not run all over my face because of my oily skin and does not settle in my fine lines or wrinkles! I am so highly satisfied with this foundation, I do not feel the need to ever try anything else again! I was literally in tears the day that I purchased this make up because the other new foundation I had purchased ran all over my face within just a few hours, and it was really embarrassing as it was the first day of a new job! I looked terrible with that other make up! As an experienced person in make up, I would highly recommend this Estée Lauder foundation! I heard it when I was younger that this foundation was the best but I wanted to do things the hard way and try everything else lol well now I found out for myself! This is definitely top-notch number one! Forever favorite! Feeling fresh all day!! I couldn’t be happier!

Ho acquistato questa crema per mia mamma ultra ottantenne, siccome è stato per lei un periodo difficile, volevo che si tirasse un po’ su il morale, altre all’affetto che le do, desideravo che ci fosse qualcosa che la facesse star bene anche così, come dire, come donna insomma, così dopo innumerevoli ricerche su internet, le ho comperato questa crema… Ottimo prodotto, gli effetti sulla tonicità della pelle si notano già il giorno dopo. A distanza di più di un mese la crema non è ancora finita e gli effetti si vedono e molto… certo non fa miracoli però se prima era un viso, come dire, un po’ “sciupato”, ora è luminoso e bello, sano e con rughe effettivamente meno profonde, le più piccole sono scomparse e la pelle è cmq liscia, piacevolmente liscia e compatta al tatto. Mi sono accorto che anche le altre persone si comportano un po’ più affabilmente con lei, come posso dire… un po’ ammirate, meno, che ne so, meno “falsamente” compassionevoli, e più positive… impressione mia eh!? L’effetto è stato anche positivo per l’umore della mamma. Non sono un esperto di creme, e credo che questa sia la prima crema di questa fascia di prezzo che mia mamma ha usato in vita sua, e infatti era un po’ arrabbiata per la spesa folle per una crema da viso, ma visti i risultati e la durata del prodotto si è acquietata… almeno un po’ :)… Penso che, nonostante il prezzo (che poi da quel che ho che ho visto in giro è più economica di molte altre, comunque costosissime, non tanto per il portafoglio in se, ma per i nostri standard di acquisto su prodotti che erroneamente pensavamo votati solo alla cosmesi) la ricomprerò e penso che la prossima volta la mamma sarà meno “arrabbiata” e forse….ma dico forse eh? non mi rimprovererà… non troppo almeno 😛

This is a good foundation, but I also feel that Lawless’s conseal the deal foundation is comparable in terms of texture/viscosity and coverage, although I think the Lawless foundation has better coverage. But this Estee Lauder foundation may be a thinner liquid. And yeah, the application with not having a dropper can get a bit messy with more product coming out than you would want.

I have been using the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Matte Foundation for years, and I am over 40, so that says a lot. Yes, it is a liquid makeup, but I absolutely love how it looks on my skin. I don’t use a lot at once, just a light layer applied with a sponge, and it blends beautifully for a natural, flawless finish.
The foundation lasts all day, which is amazing because I don’t have to worry about touch-ups, even with my normal face oils. The color I chose is a bit lighter than my natural tone, but it gradually blends and warms up during the day with my skin’s natural oils, which is completely normal and actually looks very natural.

This is my go to foundation! Nothing I have found works as well at this. I have combination skin, so a lot of foundations I have tried will either make me look oily or cakey. This gives me the illusion of perfect skin. The size lasts me a long time. I used this foundation for my wedding and it held strong all day. Through tears, dancing, hugs, it STAYED. Awesome buildable coverage if needed. Could not recommend this more!

My favorite foundation ever! I typically have a very rosy undertone and my blemishes are very noticeable. The double wear actually stays in place all day and is full coverage. And the best part? It doesn’t feel like you’re wearing foundation. If you are going for a night on the town, it’s very easy to stack the foundation on top of itself for longer wear and fuller coverage. Very easy to apply, a little goes a long way! It typically lasts me 2-3 months and I wear it everyday.

I have naturally oily skin and have struggled finding the perfect makeup routine that will stay put and not leave my face looking like I’ve rubbed Vaseline on it after 30+ minutes of wear. I’ve made a terrible mistake in purchasing this product (along with the skincealer and translucent soft glow powder) because it’s pricey but I now can NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING ELSE. This trio stays for hours, matches my skin tone perfectly, and must go to war with my olive oil producing pores and win daily because even after a full 8 hours of wear she is matt! Couldn’t recommend this combination more, although coupons would certainly be nice 😂
