Read now, clean later –
I’m torn with this product. First, it’s smells rancid. I’ve checked the expiration date multiple times thinking it has gone bad. The date is good for another 18 months. So it’s not that. The smell doesn’t linger past application, but it’s there the whole time I’m putting this on my face. It goes on smooth, but it is more moisturizer than any type of foundational coverage. The tint is so faint it really does look like I have nothing on-which is not what I wanted and didn’t want at the same time. It doesn’t even out my skin tone at all, which is what I was looking for. It just looks like I have moisturizer on. Which I already have a good one of. It feels very light and soft on my face -which I love. I could see using this in the summer (I got at the end of summer so I could stop using heavy foundation all the time) but it would be more for the spf coverage and that is not what I wanted this to be. All in all, I am not sure what I am paying (a lot) for when I already have products that do the same. I do think it was worth trying it, but I will not continue.

My absolute favourite. Makes my face look even, smooths out pores and isn’t too greasy once dried. It offers very very light coverage, but I do not have problematic skin so for me this is perfect – it does not cover up the way foundation does. It does have a light scent, but it goes away after a few minutes. It is a bit pricy but seems to last a long time. I have recommended to friends and they also agree that it’s a really good tinted moisturizer with SPF.

I have repurchased this product over and over again. It leaves a dewy, non-greasy finish, has great long lasting sun protection, and beautifully evens my skin tone.
Coverage: this product is a true skin TINT, meaning that it offers minimal coverage for blemishes or dark spots. However, I actually really like that it doesn’t obscure my freckles and looks like my natural skin but better. That being said, on days I have problem areas or acne, I just used a concealer that matches my skin tone well on top of this product, and that works really well (just make sure the Drmtlgy product has dried down first though!). I have very fair skin with neutral undertones and find that the product matches my skin quite well (goes on very sheer and coverage increases as it dries down). However, if you have very fair skin with very cool, pinky undertones, this product might veer a little too warm for you.
Scent: The scent is pretty neutral/mild to me and once it dries down is totally imperceptible to me. That being said, I’m not someone who is particularly sensitive to smells.
Skincare: I have combo/oily skin and prone to occasional breakouts, especially if I get lazy about washing my face or cleaning my makeup tools. The beauty of this product is that I can literally spread it on my face with my fingers like a typical sunscreen and it looks great. Takes me less than 30 seconds to apply and I’m good to go. It doesn’t break me out at all, and my skin quality has actually massively improved because I’m consistently wearing high SPF and don’t need to use any brushes/sponges that quickly get dirty and carry bacteria.
Matte vs Regular: I’ve tried both versions of this product and honestly don’t find that “matte” version to be all that much more mattifying. It kind of just has a grainier texture. That being said, I don’t find the regular version to make my skin overly dewy or greasy, especially if I just apply a bit of powder over the top in my T zone. As a result, I usually just buy the regular version.
Overall, if you’re someone looking for a product that that makes leaves your skin looking like your skin but better + protected from the sun and you don’t like spending tons of time doing your makeup every morning, this is the product you’re looking for!

I have light skin with lines, creases, large pores, and lots of texture at age 60. Sun damage left my fair/light skin mottled in color. Rolled the dice on this product after thinking about it for a year. I absolutely LOVE it! It basically evens out my skin tone – to be clear it does not cover everything up like makeup, but it evens out the overall tones and makes my skin look so much better. I don’t wear makeup every day, and just wanted to look better on the days I don’t wear it. This is perfect for that! I bought the MATTE because I have large pores and my texture is uneven and dewy products emphasize that. Here are some BONUS things I wasn’t expecting: 1) my skin feels soft and smooth with this product – that’s unusual for me. 2) When I’m just wearing this tinted moisturizer during the day and want to put on foundation at night, I can use much less foundation because my skin is already evened out in tone by wearing the tinted moisturizer. I can even just use foundation strategically. Sometimes I use IT Celebration AntiAging Powder foundation, and sometimes I use Lancome Teint Idole Liquid, but either way on the few days I do choose to wear foundation I use SOOO much less foundation because I’m already wearing the tinted moisturizer. I highly recommend this Drmtlgy Matte Tinted Moisturizer. I was on the fence for a while about trying a social media hyped product, but it does not disappoint! For me, with my skin issues and because I don’t wear makeup most of the time, it really makes me look better. Evens out my skin tone overall and you can’t see my uneven tones as much, makes my skin softer, and by looking better I feel better about myself. Lasts all day.

The summary is… it’s fine. It just does not provide the coverage advertised and does not moisturize. For a daily sunscreen, it’s fine. But if I want any coverage at all, I would need makeup on top of it which defeats the purposes in my opinion. I was using the Eucerin mineral tinted face sunscreen and it provides the blending tint, more coverage and a lower price point. I will be going back to that. It also left my skin feeling like it needs the moisturizer on top of it. It’s okay. Just not what I need.

This stuff is amazing!! I ditched my liquid foundation makeup for good after discovering this tinted moisturizer. I never realized how the foundation was making my face show more fine lines and with this moisturizer, my skin does not show that and it also looks and feels better on my face. I just bought my 2nd bottle and will never stop using this product. Highly recommend!!!

I bought the Drmtlgy Tinted Sunscreen as I’d seen it on several occasions recommended by others. It is fabulous! Lightweight, goes on smoothly. Really nice texture. Doesn’t feel heavy, perfect for Australian warmer weather. I have sensitive skin to sunscreens and this one doesn’t cause me any issues. Highly recommend.
